Club Rules
RoadKing Club® Rules - December 2007

Eligibility
  1. There are three RoadKing Club membership levels– Standard, Chrome Club and Chrome Club Elite. Any TravelCenters of America customer is eligible for Standard membership. Additionally, members whose accounts are in good standing and who earn at least 12,500 TA RoadMiles during a calendar year are eligible for membership in the Chrome Club; and members who earn at least 25,000 TA RoadMiles during a calendar year are eligible for membership in the Chrome Club Elite. TA RoadMiles issued for any reason other than for a qualifying purchase at TA (i.e. total balance transfers from one card to another or TA RoadMiles awarded as a prize) are not considered earned. Membership in Chrome Club and Chrome Club Elite will be determined by TA in its sole discretion. Qualified members will be notified via the RoadMile Marker kiosk and will be required to verify their contact information via the kiosk. Once the information is verified, a new card will be mailed and the additional benefits of the applicable membership level will be activated. Until the new card is received, the existing RoadKing card can be used. Once the new card is received, the old card should be destroyed. In order to maintain Chrome Club or Chrome Club Elite membership, a member must earn the corresponding number of points each calendar year. Otherwise, the member will move to a lower level, however, a lower level membership card might not be sent to the member, in which case the member may continue to use the higher level membership card. In this instance, all of the benefits associated with the higher level will be forfeited. The Chrome Club or Chrome Club Elite cards alone do not necessarily imply, entitle or guarantee the holder to any additional privileges, benefits or other rewards. By verifying the information on the kiosk, members agree to membership in the Standard Level, Chrome Club or Chrome Club Elite, and acknowledge and agree to abide by the current program rules, which are subject to change from time to time and can be found at www.tatravelcenters.com.
  2. Employees of TravelCenters of America are not eligible for membership in any levels of the RoadKing Club and may not possess a card for any reason. Corporations or other entities are not eligible for membership in any levels of RoadKing Club.
  3. Customers may enroll in the Standard level by calling 1-866-RKC-CLUB (1-866-752-2582) or completing an enrollment form at the TA RoadMile Marker Kiosk or at www.tatravelcenters.com. Customers should register using the name that is printed on their driver’s license. Entry of intentionally fictitious or profane data in any of the required fields will result in termination of the account and forfeiture of all existing TA RoadMile, shower credits and any other benefits.
  4. By enrolling and maintaining membership in any level of the RoadKing Club, members acknowledge and agree to abide by the current program rules, which are subject to change from time to time and can be found at www.tatravelcenters.com/RoadKingClub/Rules. The Chrome Club and Chrome Club Elite are extensions of the RoadKing Club Program. All RoadKing Club Program rules apply unless otherwise stated herein.
  5. Any person wanting to earn or redeem TA RoadMiles or other RoadKing Club rewards or benefits must have a RoadKing Club card in his or her name. This includes but is not limited to team drivers – including husband and wife teams – who must each have a separate RoadKing Club card.

Earning TA RoadMiles®
  1. RoadKing Club members earn TA RoadMiles at all participating TravelCenters of America ("TA") locations.
    • Diesel Fuel: 1 TA RoadMile for every gallon (or equivalent) purchased.
    • TA Sit-down Restaurants: 1 TA RoadMile per dollar spent at all participating locations. Chrome Club members earn 3 TA RoadMiles per dollar and Chrome Club Elite Members earn 5 TA RoadMiles per dollar.
    • TA Fast Food Restaurants: 1 TA RoadMile per dollar spent at all participating locations. Chrome Club members earn 3 TA RoadMiles per dollar and Chrome Club Elite Members earn 5 TA RoadMiles per dollar.
    • TA Truck Service Shops: 1 TA RoadMile per dollar spent (Chrome Club Elite members earn 2 TA RoadMiles per dollar spent) except for new tires purchased on National Tire Account, which will be awarded at 200 TA RoadMiles per tire.
    • In cases where additional TA RoadMiles are being offered to members, Chrome Club and Chrome Club Elite members will receive the better of the two offers, but not both. For example, if 10 TA RoadMile per dollar spent are offered in the sit-down restaurants, then Chrome Club and Chrome Club Elite members will earn 10 TA RoadMiles instead of receiving the regular 3 and 5 TA RoadMile respectively. In these instances, they will not earn the regular 3 or 5 TA RoadMiles respectively.
  2. One TA RoadMile is equivalent to one cent (USD) and will be subject to the currency conversion rate at the time of redemption for any points redeemed outside of the United States.
  3. Some locations might not offer points for sit-down or fast food restaurant purchases.
  4. Members may only earn TA RoadMiles for purchases/transactions that they make and pay for. Members may not share their TA cards, have TA RoadMiles allocated to other members, transfer awards/benefits, receive TA RoadMiles or any rewards from other members, or have more than one card of the same membership level. Members agree not to attempt to gain or accept TA RoadMiles from purchases made by other members. TA reserves the right to reduce or eliminate point balances at its sole discretion due to improper usage of the program. TA further reserves the right to cancel and restrict future membership in the program due to improper usage of the program. TA Employees are prohibited from issuing TA RoadMiles for purchases not made and paid for by the member.
  5. TA RoadMiles will not be issued for beer, alcohol, gratuities, gift certificates, labor for new or used tires installed on National Tire Account, used tires purchased on National Tire Account, Freightliner or Delco warranty repair work, discounts, sales tax on valid items purchased or for any purchases made using TA RoadMile Redemption Certificates.
  6. The corresponding RoadKing Club Membership Card ("Card") must be presented for all purchases in order to receive TA RoadMiles. TA RoadMiles will not be issued for purchases made if the Card is not present. No credit for purchases will be awarded if Card is presented after the purchase. When paying for fuel at the pump, the RoadKing Club card must be swiped at the appropriate time at the pump in order to earn points. Excluding technical problems, points will not be added or credited if the card is not swiped during this time.
  7. TA RoadMiles expire 2 years after the month of point issuance. In addition, TA RoadMiles and any available shower credits expire after six (6) months if no activity is recorded on the Card. Activity is defined as a Certificate being printed or TA RoadMiles being added via a fuel, sit-down or fast food restaurant, or truck service shop purchase. TA will not restore point balances or shower credits that expire two years after RoadMiles are issued or after six months of no activity.
  8. Members may only earn points for purchases that they make and pay for. Members may not earn points for purchases made and/or paid for by others. Members agree not to attempt to gain or accept points from purchases of others.
  9. The following limitations on earning points apply to all members:
    • Diesel transactions = 2 transactions per day
    • Sit-down Restaurant transactions = 3 transactions per day
    • Fast Food Restaurant transactions = 3 transactions per day
    • Truck Service Shop transactions = 3 transactions per day
      TA RoadMiles will not be awarded for any transactions in excess of the per day transaction limits set forth above.

Redeeming TA RoadMiles
  1. TA RoadMiles and other rewards can be redeemed at the TA RoadMile Marker kiosk ("Kiosk") located at all TA locations. TA RoadMiles are redeemed by scanning or swiping the member's card and choosing a redemption award. Chrome Club and Chrome Club Elite members can use the "My Rewards" button on the kiosk to access and print special offers available only to them. After selecting the award, a TA RoadMile Redemption Certificate (“Certificate”) is printed. Certificates cannot be produced by any other method. Certificates and other rewards have no cash value. Change is not provided for Certificates that exceed the retail price of the transaction.
  2. Certificates can be produced at the Kiosk in 500-point increments, provided that there are enough TA RoadMiles in the account to cover the amount requested. For redemption purposes, RoadMiles are converted to United States Dollars (USD) based on 1 RoadMile = $0.01 USD. RoadMiles are converted to Canadian Dollars if redeemed in Canada based on the daily Canadian exchange rate at the time the redemption Certificate is printed.
  3. A valid driver's license and corresponding RoadKing Club Card MUST be presented when redeeming $25 or more in TA RoadMiles and when redeeming Chrome Club or Chrome Club Elite rewards of any type. Additionally, TA reserves the right to request, and members shall be required to present, a valid driver's license and corresponding RoadKing Club card for redemption certificates less than $25. In either case, the name on the driver's license must match the name on the redemption certificate and corresponding RoadKing Club Card. TA reserves the right to deny and keep redemption certificates that are presented but do not match the name on the driver's license and/or Card.
  4. Certificates and rewards printed at TA locations in Canada must be redeemed at TA locations in Canada. Certificates and rewards printed at TA locations in the United States must be redeemed at TA locations in the United States.
  5. TA is not responsible for any lost or stolen Certificates or rewards. TA RoadMiles and other rewards cannot be credited back to an account if they are lost or stolen. Once a Certificate or reward is printed, it will not be credited back to the account under any circumstances.
  6. Certificates cannot be redeemed for diesel fuel, gasoline, beer, alcohol, gratuities, cash or cash equivalents, gift cards, prepaid cards, lottery tickets, parking fees, scale fees, PrivaCash, casino credits or sales tax on valid items purchased.
  7. Change will not be provided for any Certificate produced that exceeds the total amount of the transaction. Member is responsible for applicable taxes on the receipt of TA RoadMile, shower credits, or on purchases made using Certificates or other rewards. TA RoadMiles and other rewards are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferable.
  8. Purchases made with TA RoadMiles or rewards may be returned for exchange only (i.e. No Cash Refunds). TA will not credit TA RoadMiles or rewards back to the RoadKing Club account for returned merchandise. TA will not issue TA RoadMile or reward credits for returned merchandise.
  9. Rewards are subject to availability and subject to change. Conditions or restrictions specified by the providing company, sponsor, or promoter will be observed. TravelCenters of America is not responsible, and assumes no liability, for changes or discontinuances of rewards or the availability of such rewards.

  11. There will be a separate set of rules governing the awarding and redeeming of TA RoadMiles through other retailers or consumer product companies, if applicable. These rules will be posted on the www.tatravelcenters.com web site.
  12. RoadKing Club and its partners have the right to change, limit, modify or cancel program rules, regulations, levels, rewards and reward levels at any time with or without notice to members. That includes, but is not limited to, increasing or decreasing levels or number of TA RoadMiles received for every gallon (or equivalent) of diesel fuel purchases, increasing or decreasing levels or number of RoadMiles received per $1 spent at all participating TA Sit-down Restaurants, all participating TA Fast Food Restaurants and all participating TA Truck Service Shops, changing the types of rewards, adding blackout dates, limiting availability for a reward at any participating location and changing locations served by TravelCenters of America. In the event that any of these conditions occur, members may not be able to obtain certain rewards. You should check the latest rules at www.tatravelcenters.com.

Shower Credits
  1. One Shower credit is added to the card for each individual purchase of 50 gallons (approximately 190 liters in Canada) or more of diesel fuel at TA. Cumulative purchases of 50 gallons (or 190 liters) do not qualify for a free shower credit. There is no limit to the number of free shower credits that accumulate on the card. Each shower credit expires seven (7) days from the date of the qualifying fuel purchase (10 days for Chrome Club members and 14 days for Chrome Club Elite members).
  2. Shower credits are redeemed by reserving a shower using the RoadMile Marker Kiosk automated interface to the TA Shower System.
  3. For TA locations not using the TA Shower System, Shower Coupons can be printed at the Kiosk and presented to a TA Representative. A Shower Coupon must be presented to a TA Representative to obtain a free shower. TA reserves the right to request that the corresponding RoadKing Club card be presented at the same time the Shower Coupon is redeemed.
  4. At TA locations using the TA Shower System, a driver obtains a shower by reserving it through the RoadMile Marker Kiosk. Once the 'Shower Now' screen is confirmed, the redeemed shower credit can be used at that TA location only. TA will not restore shower credits to accounts for use at another TA location.
  5. Team drivers will be allowed one (1) shower each upon redemption of a Coupon or use of a Shower Credit provided that both showers are taken at the same location on the same day. Both drivers must be present when requesting two showers from one Shower Coupon. At those TA locations using the TA Shower System, team drivers should follow the menu prompts for team drivers to obtain a shower receipt from the Kiosk and proceed to the shower desk. The Customer Service Representative will reserve a shower for the second driver.
  6. No more than two (2) shower credits can be redeemed from the same Card in one (1) 24-hour period.

Sweepstakes
  1. There will be a separate set of rules governing any sweepstakes associated with the RoadKing Club program. These rules will be posted on the RoadMile Marker kiosk. They will also be posted on the www.tatravelcenters.com web site.
  2. Sweepstakes entries may be voided if the RoadKing Club membership information contains illegible, incorrect, or false information.
  3. RoadKing Club members are responsible for verifying that the information on their account is correct by visiting the TA RoadMile Marker Kiosk. Member information may be reviewed and corrected at the Kiosk or by accessing the TA RoadKing Club Internet site at www.tatravelcenters.com.

Lost or Stolen Cards
  1. If any RoadKing Club Card is lost or stolen, the driver should contact TA toll-free at 1-866-RKC-CLUB (1-866-752-2582.) The old Card will be de-activated and all TA RoadMiles remaining on the lost account can be credited to a new Card if the driver provides proof that he or she is the original account holder. TA reserves the right to obtain proof of identity for any Card transfer.
  2. When calling TA to report a lost or stolen Card, the member will be required to verify certain account information. A new Card will not be issued unless proof of identity is confirmed. TA reserves the right to charge a fee for replacement Cards.
  3. When signing up for a new or replacement Card at the RoadMile Marker Kiosk, entry of intentionally fictitious or profane data will result in termination of the account and forfeiture of all existing TA RoadMiles and shower credits.

Revved-Up Miles
  1. Vendor partners of TA may periodically offer RoadKing Club members the opportunity to multiply the TA RoadMiles in their account when making purchases of specified goods or services during specified promotional time periods.
  2. The Revved Up Miles redemption program of the RoadKing Club, if any, is valid only at participating TA locations.
  3. Prior to printing a Revved-Up Miles Certificate, RoadKing Club members should check to ensure the products they are purchasing are available for retail sale at the participating TA location where they are redeeming TA RoadMiles.
  4. The vendor partner specifies Revved-Up Mile rewards for qualifying purchases at participating TA locations. The individual purchase requirements will be posted on the RoadMile Marker Kiosk, the www.tatravelcenters.com web site, and through other promotional materials at participating TA locations.
  5. When making a purchase using Revved-Up Miles, each member will be asked to verify that he wants to exchange the requested amount of TA RoadMiles for Revved-Up Miles. Once the verification is complete, the choice is final. Revved-Up Miles cannot be exchanged back to TA RoadMiles, or used in conjunction with any retail purchase other than the specified merchandise or product.
  6. Revved-Up Mile Instant Redemption Certificates must be redeemed within 30 days from the date that the Certificate is printed.
  7. Revved-Up Miles cannot be used in conjunction with a National Tire Account purchase.

Account Information
TA requires that all RoadKing Club members have the following information correctly recorded in the RoadKing Club database: Name, street address or P.O. Box, apartment number, city, state or province, ZIP or Postal Code, telephone number including area code, and date of birth. By electing to become and remain a RoadKing Club member and by providing your individual information, you consent to TA’s collection, use and disclosure of your information in connection with the RoadKing Club. Entry of intentionally fictitious or profane data in any of the required fields will result in termination of the account and forfeiture of all existing TA RoadMiles and shower credits.


IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING PROGRAM CHANGES AND TERMINATION
TA reserves the right to terminate or change the RoadKing Club program, in whole or part, at any time with or without notice. This means that TA may make changes impacting, for example, rules for earning TA RoadMiles, rules for use of TA RoadMiles, continued availability of TA RoadMiles awards, expiration dates, program partners and the features of special offers, even though such changes may affect the value of the TA RoadMiles or Certificates already accumulated or result in forfeiture of unused TA RoadMiles, Certificates or shower credits.

At no time may TA RoadMiles Certificates or awards be transferred, purchased, sold, or bartered. Membership in the RoadKing Club may be terminated at TA’s sole discretion for anyone who appears to be utilizing the program in a manner inconsistent with the terms, conditions, or intent of the program or any portion of the program. TA, in its sole discretion, will resolve all questions or disputes regarding eligibility for the RoadKing Club or its provision of benefits.

Members should take proper care to protect their accounts. This includes but is not limited to regularly checking transactions, keeping the card in a safe place at all times, not sharing the card, pin number or any account information with others, properly exiting the TA RoadMile Marker kiosk when finished using it, and keeping redemption certificates in a secure place. If you suspect suspicious activity on your account, by other members or TA employees, then contact customer service immediately at 1-866-752-2582. Please note that for security reasons, TA customer service is not permitted to provide account numbers or pin numbers over the phone.
